Midtown Redevelopment Corporation hires director
The Midtown Redevelopment Corporation board of directors hired Anna Jenkins as the Midtown director. Prior to joining Midtown, Jenkins was a Management and Budget Analyst for the City of Oklahoma City. Prior to her position with the City of Oklahoma City, she earned a Master of Regional and City Planning at the University of Oklahoma and worked as an intern for the Urban Design and Planning Division of the Planning Department of the City of Oklahoma City.
Jenkins said, "I love Midtown OKC for its condensed, unique mix of land uses, its potential to be the hot get-together spot for Oklahoma City locals, and its potential to be the best place in the city to live if you want to be in the middle of things happening."
More about Jenkins and her goals for Midtown will be posted here soon.
Welcome
to MidTown
Oklahoma City
From the Oklahoma City Memorial and new Oklahoma City
Federal building to the historic Plaza Court, midtown Oklahoma City
is a place to
live, play, work, shop, and invest.
Redevelopment is not simply a dream in MidTown. It's
happening before your eyes. It is one of the most exciting opportunities
in
the region with abundant investment opportunity, historic significance,
and a sense of purpose and strong direction.
MidTown is a vital element in the fabric of our
city. The MidTown district is defined as the area bounded by N.
4th street
on the south, N. 13th street on the North, Broadway (west alley) on
the east, and Classen Boulevard on the west. Click
here to see a map of the area.
This district embodies the very spirit of this city. It reflects what
Oklahoma City has been in the past,
and defines what Oklahoma City will be well into the future.
